Lil Keed was born Raqhid Jevon Render on March 16, 1998, in Atlanta, Georgia in a large family with six brothers and one sister, one of whom is also a rapper, Lil Gotit.
He grew up in the Cleveland Avenue neighborhood, where he was exposed to music and crime at a young age and started making music in 2016 after losing a close friend to gun violence.
He attended Booker T. Washington High School but dropped out in the 10th grade to pursue his rap career.
He started making music with his older brother Lil Gotit, who is also a rapper and a YSL Records signee.

Death

Lil Keed was a rapper who died suddenly at the age of 24 on May 13, 2022.
The cause of his death was revealed to be natural causes due to eosinophilia, a rare condition in which the number of eosinophils, a type of white blood cell, is greatly increased.
Lil Keed had complained to friends about stomach pains in the days preceding his death and was eventually hospitalized one evening due to severe pain.
He suffered a seizure on the way to the hospital and later died at the hospital at 10:14 p.m. that day.
His liver and kidney began to fail, and he had been sick in bed for four days with complaints of stomach and back pains.
His eyes were jaundiced, and his brother drove him to the hospital in a private vehicle.
There is no evidence to suggest that Lil Keed’s death was related to the Covid-19 vaccine, as some rumors have suggested.
